glestain skiing is a great way to spend a summer afternoon. offered from mid may until the end of october, one can enjoy a full day of skiing. the run is open between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. due to the nature of the surface and the operation of equipment, glestain skiing is only available during times of good weather. the main course is 350m long by 30m wide with and average of 6 degrees of slope. the beginners run is 50m long by 30 m wide with an average of 3 dgrees of slope. two pull lifts are offered to lift you to the mountain top. while the actual feel of glestain skiing does not fully represent snow like conditions, it does offer great conditions in which to practice your form, not to mention a great way to spend a summer day.
